This note is going out to everyone who helped our family in our search for
Tyson, the Eclectus Parrot. Thanks to your tips and commitment to helping
me find online information and resources, Tyson was spotted by a neighbor
today and was safely retrieved at 2:00 pm. He was hungry/thirsty, but
otherwise he is in good health (though missing a few of his beautiful
feathers). Thank you all! Please remove his listing from your wonderful
sites!
Tyson and our family thank you!

our bird breeding area between 10:00pm and 10:30pm Monday night. The one
pair of Toco's has open leg bands and the male to that pair, has a marked up

Around dusk yesterday Mahalo got away from me outside. I found him about
five houses down but a neighbor trying to help scared him off.
I haven't seen him since dark last night (Friday 7 September). I live in (64
Half Moon Bend) Coronado California - (essentially San Diego).
My phone number is 619-423-0874
I'm happy to offer a reward and invite any suggestions for what to offer
and/or help with ideas to find Mahalo.
I'm filled with guilt. I know better that to be outside with him. The
infamous gusts of wind helped him get altitude.
I am a mess and don't know what to do. Thank you for listening. Any
networking is appreciated.

STOLEN ECLECTUS PARROTS male & female in Ann Arbor MI
Contact: Ann Arbor Police tip line at 734-996-3199
Ann Arbor police are asking for the public's help to find two exotic parrots
that were stolen from an Ann Arbor home last week. The 45-year-old homeowner
told police she left her home on Stellar Road for the day. When she returned
Wednesday afternoon she saw that her home had been burglarized and her two
Eclectus parrots were missing from their cage.
"We don't know if they went in there specifically to get the birds or not,
but once inside, it appears they used a blanket to round the birds up and
took them out of the residence," said Lt. Michael Logghe.
Also the thieves stole a computer, television and a DVD player, worth about
$2,000.
The homeowner told Local 4 News that her main concern is recovering the two
18-inch-tall birds, one male, Pippen, and one female, Jewels. The birds are
valued at $1,600 each. "The birds were nesting eggs, which were left
behind," said Logghe.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Ann Arbor Police tip
line at 734-996-3199.

When Jeremy went out to look this afternoon, he heard the bird in a tree off
in the distance. Got his binoculars to look and the bird got down closer and
closer in lower trees, and flew to Jeremy as he was standing in a treeless
yard. Bird had a clear shot.
