LOST COCKATIELS in Rockport TX

My friend was bringing in her seven (7) cockatiels from their outdoor aviaryto inside
her home on New Year's Eve Day, here in Rockport, Texas. It was supposed to get
down to about 40 degrees that night, so she did not want them to get cold. One of her dogs jumped up on her, the cage with the seven Tiels was dropped and fell apart,
and all seven cockatiels flew off. She is
devastated and wants her birds back, if anyone can help. She has had these
birds for years, and tonight it is supposed to possibly get down to freezing temps here.
I know there's probably no one on any of the lists from Rockport, Texas, but if anyone is,
any help in finding these lost, loved birds
would be much appreciated. She is leaving their outdoor aviary open and full of feed, so
maybe at least some of them will go back for food. Any help is much appreciated and thanks so much.

Our Thanksgiving weekend ended sadly when my parents' cockatiel flew through
an open door. My elderly stepfather who adores the bird didn't realize she
was on his back :-(
She's a 1 year old Cockatiel named Olivia with pearl plumage In gray/white/yellow. No band or chip. Lost on morning of 11/25 from 2205
Pialorsi Court, Eureka CA 95503.
This is on top of Humboldt Hill south of town.
Her wings are not clipped and she's a good flyer.
A neighbor spotted her this afternoon (11/26) on London St about a quarter
mile away from home. My parents looked for her until sundown and are headed
back tomorrow morning.
Anyone who spots her or a bird they think may be her should call Bette and
Joe Cawthon at (707) 443-2530 or (707) 599-1334. They can also email me at

African Grey in No. San Diego
Please be advised that the bird in question was "indeed" an African Grey.
We have pictures of the bird and a medical report from the County. The bird
was also viewed in person (bird) by a Lily Sanctuary board member. It was
an abused bird and is now in the custody of a reputable San Diego area
rescue. The current "green" bird is obviously a new recovery which is
confusing the situation.
